President of the InterReligious Cooperation Center, also a member of the Global Council on Tolerance and Peace for the Western Balkans, Dr. Arben Ramkaj, attended the opening of the first session of the International Parliamentary Assembly on Tolerance and Peace (IPTP) in the main hall of the Maltese Parliament in Valletta. This session was attended by 54 presidents and representatives of regional governments and national parliaments from all over the world. At the heart of this session was the strong support for the values of tolerance and peace in the face of racism, discrimination, extremism and intolerance.
At this meeting Dr. Ramkaj was honored to meet with the Speaker of Parliament of Malta, Anġlu Farrugia and many other representatives and parliamentarians from around the world.
